GameFirst VI - FAQ

APPLICATION

• When I set up a Wi-Fi connection, all connections for related applications are also switched from LAN to Wi-Fi.

  GameFirst VI uses a gateway as its network switch. Therefore, when both LAN and Wi-Fi are connected to the same gateway, all applications will be routed through the same designated connection to the gateway, either through LAN or Wi-Fi.

NETWORK MONITOR

• What's the relation between the icons above the graph and the curves in the graph?

  The color of the curve differentiates the network connection type. For example, the red curve shows the local area network's traffic over time, whereas the blue curve shows the same information for the Wi-Fi network.

  

• Why are the upload and download speed curves in GameFirst VI slightly different from those in Windows Task Manager?

  Unlike Windows Task Manager, GameFirst VI processes only application-related information. So it is normal for the data shown to differ slightly from those in Windows.
